Geocaching is a new way of treasure hunting and having fun with the whole family.
You only need a GPS to become a geocacher and to type in the coordinates.
The treasure chests or "caches" are often located on places with unique sceneries and historical or special interest to visitors.
The cache is typically hidden in a water proved box, containing a log book, pen, and other various treasure items of low value.
When the cache is found, please write a greeting in the log book to the owner and the other cachers. You are welcome to swop a gift.
Afterwards you can register your visit on
www.geocaching.com, where geocachers from all over the world share their experiences.
